About the position

We are currently looking for cooks to strengthen our team during the maintenance periods at Forsmark! A driven person who sees opportunities, brings new ideas, and has a desire to develop. You should be great at cooking and able to create flavors even in larger quantities. You should be able to collaborate with others to deliver a product to the customer that we can be proud of.

Job responsibilities for cooks include preparation and cooking of lunch and dinner. We prepare most things from scratch, and as always, working in a kitchen involves a lot of dishwashing and cleaning, as well as heavy lifting.

Every year, maintenance stops are carried out at Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant where each generator is shut down for maintenance, regulatory-required tests, and upgrades. This is to ensure a safe operational season. The preliminary dates for this year's stops are:

• March 8 - April 4
• April 12 - May 27
• September 6 – November 17

Primarily, we are looking for employees for the maintenance dates, but work before, between, and after these dates may also be available. Working hours are distributed between 05:00-19:30 – Monday - Sunday. You will be working at the restaurant Kraftkällan Forsmark.

Your background

The requirements you must meet are that you are at least 18 years old and can speak and write Swedish fluently. It is an advantage if you have experience working in a restaurant, cold kitchen, or large kitchen. It is also advantageous if you have a B driver's license to easily commute to and from the workplace, as bus connections are adapted to office hours.

Since the work is performed at Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant, it is mandatory to undergo a security interview, background check (Police §14), and drug test. Additionally, several other mandatory training sessions will be conducted digitally, which you can do from home. This process can take about 10 weeks or more, so do not wait to submit your application!
